Suppose we have a continuous-time Galton-Watson tree run until time T. Conditioned on the event that there are at least k individuals alive at time T, pick uniformly k distinct particles. The goal of this thesis is to characterise the ancestry of these k individuals, with a particular emphasis on the asymptotics as T → ∞.
