Abstract

The following written evidence focuses first on how successful the EU’s CSDP operations/missions have been in realising the ambition set out in Article 42(1) of the Lisbon Treaty before moving onto consider the UK’s contribution to CSDP missions/operations and as such the consequences of the UK’s withdrawal for the EU’s capacity to deploy. Finally we consider the UK’s relationship with CSDP following Brexit.
