Research output: Contribution to specialist publicationArticle

Abstract

This article uses Uppsala University's Georeferenced Event Database data on the development of conflict fatalities in countries that US had intervened during the Obama-Biden and Trump period. It concludes that the normative interventionism of Obama-Biden administration has initiated and escalated conflict in general and specifically in countries like North Korea, while the more realistic, even if selfish nationalism of Trump administration has de-escalated conflict violence.
