Abstract
Technology influences work in important ways deserving scholarly attention. These include: that humans have the moral obligation to design humane work conditions for artificial intelligence; that connectedness and social media lead to burnout and unhappiness; that artificial intelligence may generate competitive advantages for the neurodiverse; and that gig work potentially creates opportunities for the disabled.
