Abstract
How should we conceive of the relationship between decoloniality and Marxism? The authors engage the work of Guyanese revolutionary Walter Rodney and the Pakistani Mazdoor Kisan Party to consider how Marxists in the Global South engaged with questions of decolonization. Contrary to those who cast Marxism as a Eurocentric “white ideology,” these Global South revolutionaries saw it as an essential component of struggles against colonialism.
