Abstract

Reaction of [Os5(CO)13H(PhNC6H 4N)] with L = PEt3, CNBut, and CO yields 1:1 addition products of the type [Os5(CO)13H(PhNC 6H4N)L], the reaction with CO being reversible; the structure of the PEt3 adduct has been established by an X-ray structural analysis.
