N2 - The Yew Chung Educational Foundation operates a network of five International Schools in China, plus one in California, serving in total 5,500 children. This paper investigates the aims and philosophy of a ‘model’ of international education which aims to not only educate children but also bring about an inner-transformation of their worldview whereby they are both ‘Eastern’ and ‘Western’. However, the Yew Chung ‘model’ to date stands untested. There is much scope for investigation and research.
