Abstract
Poststructuralism is often accompanied with such posts as posthumanism and postqualitative research that are further considered to disrupt dominant ways of knowing. Inspired by the complexities of the various "posts," we wanted to illuminate another "post," postfeminism, to address the complicity to the dominant systems and processes instead of being able to create change in these thought systems. In this chapter, we continue Pirkko's engagement with Deleuze's poststructuralism to highlight a process of an excitement of co-writing, with Allison Jeffrey, about a unique marketing campaign of the ToeSox® advertisements that featured women's naked bodies in popular Pilates and Yoga magazines. Employing two Deleuzian-inspired concepts, Featherstone's affective body without image and Manning's biogram, we analyze intensive forces embedded in a series of the ToeSox® advertisements.
