Abstract

The title compound, diphenylsulfoximidium hydrogen sulfate, C₁₂H₁₂NOS⁺.HSO₄^-, was formed as a hydrolysis product during recrystallization of the product of the reaction of Ph₂SO with (NSCl)₃. Hydrogen-bonded networks link the cation and anion, the latter forming a hydrogen-bonded dimer.
