Abstract

Magnetic labelling has been suggested as a way to guide mesenchymal stem cellsout of the bloodstream, at a target site in the body for therapeutic use. Here weconsider the magnetic forces involved and how they compete with the forces on acell caused by blood flow in a number of different situations.
