Abstract

As an alternative to laboratory-based work, final year BSc students can undertake a public engagement (PE) project developing new activities to showcase active research from within our university. This poster describes how students transform into ambassadors for both our department and science in general, while gaining real-world employability skills through hands-on planning, communication, management and writing experience.
