Abstract
The neutral osmium-selenido clusters [Os5(μ-H)(CO)15(μ3-SePh)] (2) and [Os6(μ3-H)(CO)18(μ3-SeH)] (5) have been isolated in good yield by reaction of PhSeCl with [Os5H(CO)15]- and [Os6H(CO)15]·- respectively. The structures of 2 and 5 have been established by single crystal X-ray analysis.
