Abstract

The amine PhCH2CH2NH2 undergoes dimetallation by [Ph3Sb(NMe2)2] (1) under mild conditions to give the first structurally authenticated example of an organo-Sb(V) imido complex, [Ph3Sb(μ-NCH2CH2Ph)]2 (2).
