Abstract

The clusters [Os₄AuH(CO)₁₃(PR₃)] (1), [Os₃FeAuH(CO)₁₃(PR₃)] (2), [Os ₄AuH₃(CO)₁₂(PR₃)] (3), [Ru ₄AuH₃(CO)₁₂(PEt₃)] (4), and [Os ₅AuH(CO)₁₅(PR₃)] (5) (R = Ph, Et) have been synthesised by the reaction of the appropriate cluster anion with [PR ₃AuCl]; the structures of (1) and (3) have been established by single-crystal X-ray analyses.
