Abstract
The aim of the study is to investigate the shear transfer capacity and failure modes of reinforced concrete push-off specimens with externally bonded carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets. A targeted experimental programme consisted of ten monolithically cast push-off specimens designed to fail in shear across a known plane with varying percentages of internal steel and external CFRP percentages investigating suitability of the commonly assumed addition of the concrete (Vc), steel (Vs) and FRP (Vf) shear resistances.
