Abstract

The functional connection between the ventilation rate, vent separation and temperature difference between the internal and external air was investigated. Two areas of operations were identified, one where the separation influenced the situation and another where the temperature was the main influence. Results showed that the ventilation rate increased as the vertical separation between the vents increased or the difference in temperature between the inside and outside air increased.
