Scattering of continuous waves on solitons in photonic crystal fibers

Abstract

Scattering of a dispersive wave on a soltion in a cobweb PCF resulting in generation of new spectral components is observed directly with XFROG technique. Recent analytical theory and numerical modeling confirm the results.
