Abstract

Protonolysis of the β-diketiminate calcium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide [(ArNC(Me)CHC(Me)NAr)Ca(N(SiMe3)2)(THF)] with benzylamine is reversible and forms a quantifiable equilibrium mixture.
