Abstract

The REal and Virtual Environments Augmentation Lab (REVEAL) is a research centre for Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Bath with a focus on immersive technology. Virtual reality (VR) has the potential to change the way we experience the world and interact with each other. It can be used for a wide range of applications such as exercise, training, entertainment, and therapy. In this demo paper, we will showcase some of our VR research that has been published at CHI which can enhance VR experiences across three specific areas of study: learning with avatars, presence, and exergaming.
