Abstract
The cluster [Os3(CO)10(AuPR3) 2](R=Ph, Et) may be prepared by the decarbonylation of [Os 3(CO)11(AuPR3)2], or by the direct reaction of [Os3H(CO)11]- or [Os 3(CO)11]2- with two equivalents of Au(PR 3)Cl; an X-ray analysis of [Os3(CO)10(AuPR 3)2] shows that both 'AuPR3' groups bridge the same short edge of the Os3 triangle.
