    Abstract

Results are presented for the magnetoresistance of a range of Cu 1-xTix metallic glasses (x=0.35, 0.42, 0.50, 0.65). The results can be described by a combination of quantum interference and electron interaction effects. A detailed comparison of theory and experiment gives values for the magnitude and temperature dependence of the inelastic and spin-orbit relaxation times. The inelastic relaxation time is found to be proportional to T2 above 20K but it approaches a T4 dependence at lower temperatures.
