Propagation of picosecond pulses through photonic crystal waveguides at C-band region

Abstract

High repetition rate picosecond optical pulses are transmitted through a photonic crystal coupled cavity waveguide for the first time. Strong pulse shaping effects are observed at the edge of the waveguide transmission band.
