Abstract
In this chapter, I reflect on my experiences as a critical management education (CME) practitioner, with the aim to offer advice and suggestions for other business school educators. My reflections are particularly directed at those who might be new to CME and would like to implement it in their teaching. The chapter is structured according to the different factors that have influenced my pedagogic practice: initial inspiration; institutional conditions; and my own professional development, especially a shift in focus from the content to the learners. When discussing each of these, I have tried to emphasise those aspects of what I have learned along the way that, hopefully, might be of interest and benefit to others. The reflections below are offered in the spirit of openness about what has worked for me in the particular context(s) within which my practice has developed, without any claims about universal applicability or righteousness about my approach.
