Abstract
We present a microfluidic chamber used for PCR amplification, combined with the highly sensitive and specific electrochemical detection system. Our proposed method has the advantages of having a wider linear dynamic response range, and the ability to make measurements in opaque or turbid biological samples. Electrochemistry provides a technology that is amenable to miniaturisation.
