Abstract

An all-optical 3×3 SOA-based switch is demonstrated for routing radio-over-fiber signals. It is demonstrated that different RF signals, such as terrestrial digital TV and wireless LAN, can be routed simultaneously with a switching guard-band of only 500ns.
