Abstract

This article summarises a case study at the University of Sheffield, where a collaborative body of Student Associates in Learning and Teaching (SALTs) and a member of staff worked together to assess the impact of group assessment on student experience. The aim of the case study was to feed into assessment design and good practice across the Faculty of Social Sciences.The implementation, effectiveness and outcomes of the SALT scheme are also evaluated within this article.
