Abstract

The compounds [NH][(MoO) O(HPO)][PO]X, X = Cl, Br are constructed from molybdenophosphate layers of unique topology that are penetrated by channels containing perfectly ordered, alternating ammonium cations and free orthophosphate (PO) or halide (Cl , Br) anions.
