Abstract
An eight-channel demultiplexer device is presented, which incorporates a grating structure together with collimating and reflecting mirrors within two-dimensional plane of a slab. The device, the smallest yet reported, measures 2 mm × 1 mm and is designed for a channel separation of 4 nm.
