Abstract
The structures of the Group 1 metal aminoalkoxides Li[OCH(CH CNMe)] (1) and K[OCH(CHCNMe )]·H OCH(CHCNMe) (2) have been determined. 1 is a hexameric drum in which two Li O rings are joined co-facially, whereas 2 is tetrameric and adopts a K Oladder structure, novel for homoleptic potassium alkoxides.
