Kinanthropometry

The article highlights the workshop on kinanthropometry, presented by professors Tom Reilly and Roger Easton. An overview of the theoretical basis and conduct of a range of anthropometric methods used by sport and exercise scientists was provided by the workshop. Surface anthropometry, bioelectrical impedance analysis, dual energy x-ray absorptiometry and hydrodensitometry were the methods discussed. The students questioned the presenters about the various methods, particularly during the practical sessions.
