Abstract

The global demand for English proficiency has necessitated innovative approaches to language education, particularly in remote areas where traditional methods face significant barriers. Integrating the Internet of Things into educational technology presents a transformative opportunity to bridge this gap and expand access to language learning resources. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, data security concerns, and resistance from educators must be addressed to realize the potential of IoT-based language learning devices fully. This paper critically examines the role of IoT in enhancing remote English education, exploring its challenges and opportunities, and advocating for strategic implementation to maximize its potential and improve educational outcomes for students in underserved regions.
