Abstract
This scientific white paper was drafted by
experts in the field of antimicrobial resistance
(AMR) seeking to collate evidence and
identify knowledge gaps around AMR in
the environment. Experts met to discuss
this work at the International Environmental
AMR Forum, hosted by the U.S. Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, the UK
Science & Innovation Network, and the
Wellcome Trust in April 2018.
The white paper was published alongside the
report Initiatives for Addressing Antimicrobial
Resistance in the Environment: Executive
Summary. The executive summary highlights
key findings from the white paper and
multi-stakeholder discussion at the Forum.
