Homeschooling opportunities for students with special needs during Corona: Recommendations for teachers and parents

Abstract

Homeschooling also known as home education, is the education of children at home or at a variety of places other than school. It is usually conducted by a parent, tutor, or an online teacher. Homeschooling can be applied for students with special needs during Corona period because of their physical vulnerability. We review advantages and disadvantages of homeschooling for students with special needs separately and our focus are on its advantages. Also we have recommendations for parents and teachers to make this training method more efficient for this group.
