Abstract
Routing of 10 Gb/s optical data packets has been demonstrated using a vertical coupler space switch device with inter-packet guard-band time as short as 2ns. It has been shown that with the vertical coupler structure it is possible to design devices that has the minimum transmission at a non-zero bias current.
