High-power all-fiber supercontinuum generation in SF6 photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

Soft-glass photonic-crystal fiber is used to generate broad supercontinuum using an all-fiber-femtosecond laser. The bandwidth exceeds 1700 nm and has average powers in excess of 100 m W with 46-MHz repetition rate.
