High power 55 watts CW raman fiber-gas-laser

Abstract

We demonstrate, for the first time, a Raman fiber-gas-laser with 55W output power by coupling 85W of a high-power fiber-laser in a H2-filled hollow-core-photonic-crystal-fiber. The laser characteristics include pure Stokes output and high mode quality.
