Abstract

For the first time the ground-state energy of the ±J D-dimensional regular spin glass is determined by the Genetic Algorithm for D>3 and various system sizes. Estimates of the ground-state energy of the infinite system for D=2 and 3 are found to match the most recent calculations. The method used is believed to be suitable for mapping the degeneracy of the state.
