Abstract

The authors note a recent publication from Clark and co-workers was omitted from the Introduction section of the manuscript. The sentence that was intended to be included is as follows: Recently Clark has demonstrated a Cu-catalysed route for the preparation of alkanes and fully deuterated alkanes from alkynes.1 The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
