E-cigarettes, Heated Tobacco Products, and Harm Reduction: a Win/Win Situation for the Tobacco Industry

Abstract

Based on ongoing monitoring of current tobacco industry activity, and analysis of historic internal tobacco industry documents, this presentation examines transnational tobacco companies’ interests in e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products, and explores how these products fit in with the tobacco industry’s strategy to re-normalise the industry.
