Abstract

Semiconductor lasers can generate picosecond optical pulses at different wavelengths simultaneously. The paper reports the successful generation of dual wavelength picosecond pulse trains incorporating a programmable relative delay by actively mode-locking and multichannel grating cavity (MGC) laser.
