Abstract

This review highlights some of the advances that have been made in the study of donor–acceptor interactions and their applications in the construction of functional supramolecular architectures in 2012. The review is organised into three broad sections encompassing light-harvesting photovoltaics, donor–acceptor co-polymers and mechanically interlocked molecules.
