Abstract

The lockdown forced companies to work remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic. This rapid digital adoption has yet to be homogeneous across enterprises and industries. We examine a sample of 32 European countries using the dataset from ICT usage in enterprises in Eurostat. We concentrate our analysis on the pandemic impact on remote access to i) the e-mail system and ii) the ICT system different from the e-mail, and iii) a set of cloud computing services.
