Abstract

Compounds capable of antagonising a sustained cADPR-mediated rise in intracellular Ca<2+> levels in a T cell, said rise being in response to stimulation of the T cell receptor/CD3 complex of the T cell, methods for identifying the same and their use in modulating T cell activity are described. The preferred compounds are cyclic adenosine diphosphate ribose analogues.
