Abstract

Merchant, N. D., Fristrup, K. M., Johnson, M. P., Tyack, P. L., Witt, M. J., Blondel, P., & Parks, S. E. (2015). Measuring acoustic habitats. Methods in Ecology and Evolution, 6, 257–265. https://doi.org/10.1111/2041-210X.12330 In the Supporting Information for this paper, there was an error in the code. This has now been corrected in the Supporting Information linked to the original article. The correction that has been made to the code is minor but significant, since it can affect the accuracy of the results that the code (named PAMGuide) produces at low frequencies for some types of analysis. A bug was identified in the code which can lead to errors of up to several decibels at frequencies below around 100 Hz when carrying out one-third octave band analysis when the low-frequency limit has been changed from its default of 1 Hz.
