Abstract
A simple output power control system was demonstrated for a lossless optical crosspoint switch. A controlled current source was used to bias the crosspoint switch element. The system was demonstrated to stabilize output power to within 0.5 dB over a 12 dB range. The system allowed output power control for bi-directional data flow through the crosspoint switch.
