Compact 8 × 8 channel silica 2DIO wavelength filter

Abstract

A two-dimensional integrated optics (2DIO) wavelength filter with 8×8 channels with 3.2 nm channel wavelength separation was presented. The device has increased the channel count with smaller wavelength separation. Results showed that the characteristics of the devices are suitable for data communication systems.
