Abstract
This paper explores the phenomenon of Chinese culture aphasia in senior middle school English classrooms, examining how students’ limited exposure to cultural content affects intercultural communication competence. It argues that integrating local culture into English teaching can enhance students’ cultural identity and global understanding.
