Abstract

This policy brief documents evidence of child neglect among refugee children in Gaza, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and the West Bank. The analysis is based on the 2021 Assessment of Learning Outcomes (ALO) and the Survey of Associated Factors (SAF). The findings suggest that child neglect is an issue that should be addressed from a systemic perspective and emphasise the need to support schools, families, and learners.
