The aim of this chapter is to reflect the major advances in the chemistry of the Group 13 elements in the literature published in peer-reviewed journals during 2009. As in previous years this review is not exhaustive; focusing on what the author believes to be significant works and contributions to the field. The author apologises in advance that not all work can be covered and afforded the same depth of coverage.
