Abstract

A biocompatible drug delivery device in which the mean pore size in one or more layers is less than 100 [mu]m. The device may be a hollow fibre or a membrane comprising a number of hollow fibres or a microsphere. The invention also extends to a method for preparing porous hollow fibres or microspheres, to the apparatus for preparing said fibres and to the use of the fibres as drug delivery devices.
